
Amman Arab University Hosts Iftar Program and Distributes Dates as Part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Initiative
As part of its mission, the Faculty of Sharia at Amman Arab University , in collaboration with local and international institutions, hosted the Iftar program and date distribution under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s initiative in Jordan. This program, supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance of Saudi Arabia, was carried out by the Saudi Embassy in Jordan within the university campus.
The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Al-Asimi, the Islamic Adviser at the Saudi Embassy in Jordan, and attended by Dr. Bilal Abu Qudoum, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and representative of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Wadyan, President of Amman Arab University, Dr. Mohammed bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mut’eb Al-Otaibi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shreida, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, and several members of the university’s academic and administrative staff.
The program included the distribution of dates to students and faculty members, followed by the Maghrib prayer at the University’s mosque. Dr. Abu Qudoum emphasized the importance of such programs in serving the community and alleviating its hardships. He expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Salman, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their ongoing support to Islam and Muslims worldwide. He also highlighted Saudi Arabia's leadership in humanitarian work and charitable initiatives across the globe, noting that the participation in these programs in Jordan reflects the deep relationship between the two noble countries. Dr. Abu Qudoum prayed for the safety and well-being of both the Kingdom of Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
