The Language Center was established at Amman Arab University in 2001.It is considered one of the academic units which is related to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. It serves the students of different disciplines at the university.
The center teaches university requirements in the English language so as to improve students' English language performance and equip them with various skills. In addition, it offers courses in various English language skills such as: English language Comprehensive Courses, and Conversation Courses, Translation, and courses for qualifying students pass the National Exam and TOEFL.
The center is also responsible for teaching university requirements in Arabic language through different levels, where the registered student at the university is requested to sit for a placement test that determines which courses should be studied during the academic study.
