Amman Arab University Organizes Training Workshops for Talat Al-Riz Public School

A series of training workshops entitled “Modern Educational Issues” were concluded at Amman Arab University, in which members of academic and administrative staff of the Tala’at al-Raz government schools for boys and girls participated. This training series comes within the university’s social responsibility and was presented by a group of academics at the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, during which a number of workshops were presented that dealt with educational topics and effective teaching strategies, and how to exploit technology to integrate it into education. It also touched on teacher competencies in the current century, how to create achievement tests, and issues of bullying and how to deal with them.

At the end of the training workshops, the Assistant President of Amman Arab University for Academic Affairs and Dean of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies, Professor. Ismail Yamin, handed over certificates to the participants and certificates of thanks to the volunteer trainers who led the workshops, in addition to presenting an honorary shield from the two schools to the university in appreciation of its societal role, which was handed over on behalf of the participants by the Director of Talaat Al-Riz School. It is worth noting that social responsibility at Amman Arab University is part of its identity, strategic and operational plans, and academic courses. It is supported by a specialized office in cooperation with the university’s colleges and departments.
