Al-Jazi Sponsors a conference titled “Business Digitalization and Scientific Research: Future Perspectives” at Amman Arab University
Dr. Omar Mashhoor Haditha Al-Jazi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Amman Arab University, sponsored the events of the 7th International Scientific Conference organized by the College of Business in cooperation with the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies. The conference, titled “Business Digitalization and Scientific Research: Future Perspectives,” took place on the university campus.
In his speech at the opening of the conference, Dr. Al-Jazi stated that the world is currently living in the digital era, where lifelong learning, in all its forms and patterns, relies entirely on information and communication technology (ICT). He emphasized that this requires consideration of how to sustain communication without diminishing intelligence or abilities, He further highlighted that ICT has provided various forms, strategies, and alternatives for individuals, driven by learners’ use of search engines and information sharing.
Dr. Yamin stressed that the College of Business, in organizing this scientific conference, is fully aware of its responsibility to help achieve the university’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives. He also indicated to the university’s significant achievements in scientific research, pointing out that many research papers have been published in peer-reviewed international journals. Specifically, 1,142 research papers were published in the Scopus database over the past five years.
