"Amman Arab University" ranks 32nd among Arab universities and sixth among Jordanian universities in the 2024 GreenMetric assessment
Despite adding 295 new university to the ranking, Amman Arab University has improved significantly in the Green Metric 2024 rating, rising 113 compared to the previous year to rank sixth among all Jordanian public and private universities, 32nd among all Arab universities, and 388th in the world.
The university's president, Prof. Mohammad Al-Widyan, commended Amman Arab University for achieving the distinction in all classification criteria, including sustainable development, and for achieving advanced ranks in the classification. This is because Amman Arab University is home to the regional network for social responsibility and is regarded as the headquarters of the Sustainable Development Council at the Arab world level.
Dr. Hussam Alhamad , Assistant President for Planning and Quality Assurance, responded by pointing out that Amman Arab University has created ambitious plans for development and improvement in order to improve its great position in the Arab region as a leading educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and scientific research and graduating qualified students for the labor market. These plans aim to achieve international accreditation standards and classifications in all areas of the university's operations.
