Amman Arab University Wins Two Awards at the 2024 Global English Language Olympiad for Universities

In an achievement reflecting the excellence and creativity of its students, participants from Amman Arab University secured two prestigious awards at the 2024 Global English Language Olympiad for Universities. The competition, held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Minister of Education. The event was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in collaboration with Masa International Testing Company.

The Mystique team, which included students Maha Afara, Dar Ghnemat, Zahraa Abdulhadi, Sireen Afara, and Sarah Al-Tamimi, under the supervision of Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fawa’era, won the award for "Best Innovation in a Research Project." Their project revolved around a dedicated initiative aimed at helping high school students explore their academic options through visits to institutions, workshops, and career sessions. Survey and interview data indicated that the initiative enhanced students' confidence and clarity in their academic choices, effectively engaging them and assisting them in making informed decisions.

أما فريق Rose finch Mavericks Meanwhile, the Rose Finch Mavericks team, comprising students Ahmad Jarrarah, Mohammad Al-Rajjali, Dana Samreen, and Samar Hussein, supervised by Mr. Tarek Wreikat, received the award for "Best Problem Identification and Solution in a Research Project." Their project focused on supporting orphaned children by enhancing their education in English and developing their educational and social skills to prepare them for the job market. As for the theatrical performance presented by participating students, it highlighted the events of Jordan’s independence, showcasing the nation’s authentic values.
