Amman Arab University Welcomes European Delegation as Part of Erasmus Project
A delegation from European partners in the Erasmus ASPRO project visited Jordan to review progress with Jordanian counterparts. The European representatives, including the University of the Aegean (Greece), Eskisehir Technical University (Turkey), Kazimieras Simonavicius University (Lithuania), and the Creative Thinking Development Foundation (Greece), met with partners from Amman Arab University, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University, and the Middle East Aviation Academy, expressing appreciation for the achievements made by the Jordanian team.
Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, the President of Amman Arab University, welcomed the delegation and joined by Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Collage of Aviation Sciences, who coordinates the project. Discussions centered on collaboration in the Aviation Safety Diploma program, with Dr. Al-Widyan commending the European partners and Amman Arab University’s contributions.
Dr. Ioannis K. Dagkinis, head of the European delegation, praised the Collage of Aviation Sciences’ efforts in implementing the curriculum and short courses. The visitors toured the university’s aviation and engineering facilities, where Dr. Al-Assaf showcased the use of advanced technologies, including virtual reality in practical aviation courses.
