Theatrical Event at Amman Arab University Highlights Youth Participation in Elections
Amman Arab University, under the patronage of President Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, hosted a theatrical performance titled Raise Your Voice, in partnership with the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs. The play, presented by the "Zaal and Khadra Artistic Troupe" with artists Hassan Al-Sabaileh and Rania Ismail, aimed to inspire youth to actively participate in elections and support democratic processes in Jordan.
Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, the Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the attendees, university staff, students, and guests. The performance encouraged young people to vote, join political parties, and advocate for women's empowerment in politics in line with Jordan's vision for political modernization under King Abdullah II.
With a comedic touch, the play emphasized choosing qualified candidates based on their vision for public service. It portrayed voting as a national duty and a constitutional right, urging students to be part of the democratic process and supporting inclusive political decision-making.
