Scientific Visits for Software Engineering Students at Amman Arab University to Enhance Practical Skills

Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at Amman Arab University has organized two scientific visits for students specializing in Software Engineering, under the guidance of President Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan. The first visit was to Orkida Software Company, where students were welcomed by Engineer Youssef Mzarawi, who provided them with a comprehensive overview of the work environment, modern software development methodologies, and ongoing projects. The second visit took place at the Queen Rania Abdullah Center for Educational Technology and Information, where students had the opportunity to meet with staff members from various departments, enhancing their understanding of the specific functions of each department and the services the center offers in the field of educational technology and information. Dr. Al-Zbeem emphasized the importance of these visits in enhancing students' knowledge of professional work environments and acquiring practical skills that will prepare them for the job market after graduation. Dr. Fatima Al-Shnaq, Head of the Software Engineering Department, praised the significance of these visits, stating that linking theoretical education with practical applications is a priority for the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics.
