An Academic Delegation from Prominent Malaysian Universities is Received by the President of Amman Arab University
Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, recently met with a distinguished delegation from six prominent Malaysian universities: Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah University, University of Malaya, Malaysian University of Putra, Asia Pacific University, Utara University, and Benciara University. The delegation included members from the Malaysian government's Global Educational Corporation and gathered to explore opportunities for academic collaboration.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Widyan expressed Amman Arab University’s eagerness to strengthen ties with Malaysian institutions, highlighting areas such as faculty exchange, student mobility for bachelor’s and master’s programs, and the development of joint research initiatives. The discussions also covered potential partnerships in fields like education, business, engineering, computer science, and Sharia.
Dr. Mohammad Sehwail, Director of the university’s International Office, provided the visitors with an overview of Amman Arab University’s growth, goals, and extensive international connections. The meeting concluded with a tour of the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, where the delegation praised the institution’s progress in infrastructure and academic development. Both sides expressed a shared commitment to fostering long-term, mutually beneficial academic cooperation.
