The Fifth Programming Competition Organized by Amman Arab University to Enhance Students' Skills In Programming and Problem-Solving
The Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at Amman Arab University hosted the "Fifth Programming Competition AAU-PC 2024" to enhance students' programming and problem-solving skills. The competition involved 102 students, divided into 34 teams, with the top three teams being awarded prizes. Team "Blunder" took first place, followed by "Mad Matrix" In second, and "Fama" in third. During the closing ceremony, attended by faculty and students, the winners received cash prizes and certificates. Dr. Hussam Al-Hamd, Dean of the Faculty, praised the event's importance in improving students' competitiveness in the job market. The competition was organized by a team of students, led by Ahmad and Yara Al-Rousan, with support from the administrative committee. Dr. Sharaf Al-Zoubi emphasized the competition’s role in providing practical programming experience and affirmed the university’s commitment to fostering student success. The event is held annually to prepare students for national and international competitions.
