The Medical Laboratory Sciences Program at Amman Arab University Has Begun Accepting Students
Amman Arab University is dedicated to maintaining a leading position in advancing various scientific disciplines. In alignment with its vision of leadership and excellence, the university has recently established its tenth academic unit, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, which has received approval from the Higher Education Council. This new college represents a significant advancement in the pursuit of knowledge and skills in comprehensive medical care and is set to commence operations in the academic year 2024/2025.
Professor Mohammed Al-Wadyan, President of Amman Arab University, articulated that establishing the College of Applied Medical Sciences is integral to the university's strategic initiative to provide specialized programs that correspond with the requirements of local and global labor markets. This initiative is grounded in empirical studies and ongoing consultations with pertinent stakeholders. He further noted that the college will offer high-quality academic programs designed to enhance employment opportunities in the healthcare sector and to address the shortage of qualified professionals in applied medical fields at both local and regional levels.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Shraida, Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, underscored that the college's mission is to have well-trained graduates, proficient in advanced applied medical services, thereby fulfilling the needs of both the local and regional communities.
