Dr. Samaa Taha from “Amman Arab University” Participates in CRS2024 Global Conference
Dr. Samaa Taha from Amman Arab University has recently shared her innovative research on lung cancer treatment at the prestigious CRS 2024 Conference in, Italy. Her presentation, titled “Developing Safe and Effective Methods for Targeting Lung Cancer Using Methotrexate,” introduced a new approach that combines genetic and physical targeting to reduce side effects, with the hope of eventually moving into clinical trials to make treatment more affordable. This project is held in a collaboration with Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University,
Dr. Taha’s participation was supported by the university’s leadership, including Professor Rana Abu Huwaij, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, highlighting the university’s commitment to impactful research and global partnerships.
