Amman Arab University has signed a collaboration agreement with Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to support training and employment programs under the Youth, Technology, and Jobs initiative. This partnership, alongside the Digital Skills Association, aims to equip students and graduates from the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics with essential digital skills for the labor market in telecommunications and IT. It also seeks to help them obtain international professional certifications through global training programs.

The agreement was signed by Minister Sami Samarat and University President Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, with officials from the university present. Dr. Al-Widyan highlighted the ministry's efforts to provide valuable training opportunities, which will help create job prospects and enhance students' readiness for the labor market.

Students and graduates face challenges due to rapid digital transformation and the need to meet market demands, particularly in technology. The minister praised the Digital Skills Association for addressing the skills gap in Jordan. The College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University emphasizes practical application, offering free training workshops each semester and forming partnerships with global institutions like Cisco and Oracle to enhance training and employment opportunities.
