College of Engineering at "Amman Arab University" Participates in the Tenth International Jordanian Mechanical Engineering Conference
Following direction of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, College of Engineering participated in the Tenth International Jordanian Mechanical Engineering Conference, held at the Royal Hotel under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan. The conference was organized by Jordan Engineers Association/Mechanical Engineering Division. Dr. Yousef Altaharwah from the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering represented the university at the conference.
The conference was inaugurated by the Prime Minister’s representative, Engineer Bassam Al-Sarhan, Chairman of Telecommunications Regulatory Commission , in the presence of Engineer Ahmad Samara Al-Zu'bi, the President of the Engineers Association, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Adwan, Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Division, and experts and specialists from around ten Arab and foreign countries.
Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University, indicated that the participation of faculty members in scientific conferences aims at staying updated with the latest developments in mechanical engineering, reflecting these outcomes to the teaching process and strengthening the link between the university and the job market.
The conference included a series of lectures and panel discussions presented by numerous experts and specialists in the field of mechanical engineering. Additionally, many research papers and presentations were delivered , covering a wide range of specialized information by integrating academia and industry to improve research quality and enhance practical application in Jordan, featuring 40 research papers from several countries, including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and others.
