“Amman Arab University” Participates in the Thirteenth Scientific Day to Combat Smoking
Within the framework of Amman Arab University’s direction towards a smoke-free University campus and providing an appropriate quality of life for the younger generations away from the scourge of smoking, and to enhance the university’s healthy culture and health awareness of the harms of smoking and the negative effects of smoking, and to stimulate the need to quit smoking and stay away from the smokers’ environment, the Supreme Anti-Smoking Committee participated At Amman Arab University in the thirteenth scientific day entitled “Electronic cigarettes... a healthy alternative?”, where the scientific day activities were attended by Dr. Pharmacist Celine Abu Ghosh as a representative of the committee.
It is noteworthy that the scientific day included dialogues about electronic cigarettes, their harms, and addiction, in addition to presenting some success stories for students from the smoking cessation clinic. A competition for the best scientific poster and a competition for the best media poster were organized, in which students from various Jordanian universities participated, including: This is the participation of student Nour Al-Huda Saleh Mustafa from the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University in the best media poster competition.
