Department of Renewable Energy at “Amman Arab university” Hosts Energy Consultant Dr. Iyad Al-Sartawi
Within Amman Arab University’s vision of the necessity of benefiting from experts in all scientific fields by providing applied lectures directed to university students from all specializations, the Renewable Energy Department at Amman Arab University hosted energy advisor Dr. Iyad Sartawi to talk about the renewable energy law and Jordanian energy conservation. During the lecture, Dr. Sartawi focused on the concept of security of energy supply and increased reliance on local sources, the development of the electrical system and the electricity law, the technical challenges following connection to electrical networks, as well as the factors affecting the success of investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
At the end of the lecture, students were given the opportunity to ask and answer their questions about the Jordanian energy law.
Dean of the College of Engineering at the University, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, thanked Dr. Iyad Al-Sartawi for accepting the college’s invitation to this lecture and for his continuous cooperation to enrich knowledge and exchange experiences to increase the students’ experiences and enrich them with the keys to success in their professional lives.
