Amman Arab University Participates in the Conference “Teacher Preparation and Professional Development: Inspiring the Future”
Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Raouf Al-Rawabdeh, former Prime Minister, Amman Arab University participated in the activities of the conference “Teacher Preparation and Professional Development: Inspiring the Future” under the slogan: (Skillful Hands and Innovative Minds), which is the fifteenth international conference organized by the College of Educational Sciences at Yarmouk University, in partnership With the ALECSO Chair for Educational Studies and Research.
Amman Arab University was represented at the conference by Dr. Bassam Ghanim, a faculty member at the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences and professor of the (Teacher Preparation and Development) course, who provided several interventions on the topics of preparation programs, the training needs of teachers, and their professional well-being.
The conference included seven topics: teacher preparation and training programs, current and future needs for teacher preparation and professional development, professional sustainability for teachers, quality assurance of teacher preparation programs, professional well-being for teachers, experiences in teacher preparation “local, Arab and international”, digital transformations and their role in teacher preparation, and the role of leadership,and leadership in teacher preparation and professional development.
