Amman Arab University Implements a Training Workshop on “Standards for Writing Scientific Research in English”
The College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs/Office of Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up (King Abdullah II Fund for Development) at Amman Arab University, held a remote training workshop for graduate students entitled “Standards for writing the title, summary, and references of scientific research in the English language.”
The workshop was presented by a faculty member at the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences / Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods at Amman Arab University, Dr. Zuhair Zaghloul, which covered a detailed explanation of the standards for writing the title of scientific research, the summary of the research, and documenting references in the body of the research, in addition to writing references in English according to the APA system. ) Seventh Edition.
The workshop, which was attended by a number of graduate students and a group of faculty members at the college, included answers to students’ inquires and discussion interventions from faculty members. The students expressed interest in the topic of the workshop as it works to develop their skills and competencies in writing important elements in their scientific research, stressing the necessity of holding Such workshops will be held in the future, and holding this workshop comes within the framework of achieving the standards of the strategic and procedural plan for the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University.
