College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University Implements the Participatory Leadership Workshop at Al-Fuhais Housing School
College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University carried out a training workshop on "Participatory Leadership" for faculty and administrative staff members at Al-Fuhais Basic Mixed School.
The workshop was presented by a faculty member at the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Prof. Khaled Abu Shaera, and with the participation of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Rami Al-Shaqran, which dealt with an overview of the concept of participatory leadership, how to be a successful leader, the applications of participatory leadership in the educational field, the challenges associated with participatory leadership and ways to encounter it, participatory leadership methods, the characteristics of the participatory leader, and when participatory management works better.
At the end of the workshop, the management of the Mixed Basic Housing School of Al-Fuhais and Teachers expressed their thanks for the cooperation of the Amman Arab University, represented by the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, in the implementation of such a training workshop, and the importance of the continuity of cooperation with the university. The participation of this college comes within the policy of the Amman Arab University and its orientations of the need to participate and network with various local community institutions, especially the Ministry of Education, in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development in the field of education and training.
