“Amman Arab University” Participates in the International Innovation Dome Forum for Sustainable Development and Development
Amman Arab University participated in the work of the International Innovation Dome Forum for Development and Sustainable Development, which was launched by the Innovation Dome for Consulting and Training under the title “Artificial Intelligence and Financial Technology in the Financial and Banking Sector.”
Amman Arab University was represented in the forum by Dr. Anas Al-Hanandeh, a faculty member in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, and Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Al-Hanandeh presented a scientific paper entitled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Education,” in which he pointed out the importance of the role of artificial intelligence applications in various fields, especially in the field of education, and referred to some recent research in the field of artificial intelligence applications used in education.
Al-Hanandeh also presented the available opportunities offered by these applications, including: personalized learning that adapts to students’ performance, tracks their performance, and helps provide the teacher with appropriate feedback, natural language processing applications, learning management systems, chatbots that answer students’ questions, and other applications that are used in Areas of learning. The challenges facing the use of artificial intelligence in education were also discussed, including accessibility, privacy, appropriate training for teachers, and finally weak infrastructure.
At the end of the forum, the Innovation Dome for Consulting and Training honored Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, with the forum’s shield, which Dr. Al-Hanandeh received from him. It is noteworthy that Amman Arab University’s participation in the work of the forum came in implementation of the terms of the agreement concluded between the Center for Consulting and Training at the university and the Innovation Dome Academy for Consulting and training.
