Training Workshop on the Linux Operating System at Amman Arab University
As part of its endeavor to enhance the skills of its students and prepare them for the labor market, College of Computer Sciences and Information at Amman Arab University organized a training workshop entitled “Linux Operating System” under the supervision of a faculty member at the college, Dr. Kamal Alyan.
The workshop aimed to achieve a set of valuable educational outcomes, as it began by introducing students to the Linux operating system, its history and work, highlighting its importance and the challenges that students may encounter while using it, in addition to examining the pros and cons of the system. This workshop is regarded as part of a series of training courses and workshops held in the college aims to enhance the students’ skills portfolio and enable them to enter the labor market with confidence. At the conclusion of the workshop, the students expressed how much they benefited from this educational event, stressing that it will have a positive impact on their journey towards entering the labor market.
