A Memorandum of Cooperation between “Amman Arab University” and “Saed Platform for Self-Employment”
Amman - Amman Arab University and the Saed Free Employment Platform concluded a memorandum of joint cooperation in the fields of leadership, training, academic and vocational qualification, and creating job opportunities for young people seeking work through the free labor market. The memorandum of cooperation signed by Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and Mr. Ayman Haroun, Executive Director of the Saed Freelancing Platform, comes after cooperation and joint work between the platform and the Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university.
In this regard, Pof. Al-Widyan said that this cooperation aims to develop the skills of Jordanian job seekers in line with the requirements of the free labor market and to find productive jobs for them in various sectors with the aim of developing societies and reducing poverty and unemployment through self-employment and the ways and opportunities through which students can benefit. Earning additional income and achieving unique job opportunities.
In turn, Haroun said that the Saed platform is the most comprehensive Jordanian-Arab digital platform, which directs young people and everyone who has a skill or service to self-employment and qualifies them for that, in addition to increasing knowledge through a specialized training program on how to enter the freelance market and how to make profits from it.
On the sidelines of signing the agreement, the Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university held an introductory lecture in which Mr. Ayman Haroun provided important information about self-employment and how to benefit from this sector, which has begun to occupy a wide space in the business world. It is worth noting that the Saed platform is a professional Jordanian-Arab platform for freelancing that is concerned with providing multiple services in all fields and to any place in the world through the electronic platform that offers its services to millions of service seekers, as freelancing has become one of the fields that is rapidly developing in the world.
