Training Workshop "Exploring the World of Metaverses" at Amman Arab University
Amman - Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund, within the terms of the project agreement No. ICT/1/9/2022, organized a training workshop entitled "Exploring the world of the world of metaverses" for students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics within the framework of the approach of the Arab University of Amman in enhancing the skills of its students and raising their competitiveness in the labor market under the supervision of Dr. Manar Mezher and in cooperation with Dr. Kamal Alian in the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics and Dr. Moeen Nasraouin, a faculty member at the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences
The training workshop aimed to achieve many educational outputs, starting with introducing students to the virtual digital worlds, their different types and differences between them, in addition to introducing the concept of metaverses, its applications, pros and cons, and what are the software and tools used to design and review metaverses
At the end of the workshop, the students had the experience of exploring the world of metaverse using the specific equipment. The implementation of the workshop is regarded as one of the training courses and workshops implemented by the college within the student's portfolio of skills, which qualifies the student to the labor market and to increase his knowledge of the virtual digital world. The students expressed their benefit from such courses and workshops that expand their perceptions about modern digital technologies.
