The Fourth Amman Arab University Programming Competition AAU-PC 2023 Organized by the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at the University
With the aim of honing and enhancing students' skills in programming, problem solving and spreading the spirit of teamwork, the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University organized the fourth Amman Arab University Programming Competition AAU-PC 2023 in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and competition
(111) students participated in the competition, who were distributed to (37) teams after qualifying from the first preparatory stage, where the (Semicolon) team, which included both students: Anas Goh, Adam Abu Al-Hija and Ahmed Salama, won the second place, while the (Brilliant) team, which included each of the students: Abdul Rahman Al-Zubairi, Osama Al-Kalbani and Fares Dudin, came in second place, and the (Codeology) team, which included students: Muhammad Al-Mansour, Ali Salam and Muhammad Abu Dames, won the First Team award in third place. (Fahita) team, consisting of students: Rasha Khaled, Dalaa Saqr, and Sidra Awameh won (first team to solve).
The winning teams of the competition were honored with a ceremony attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, the heads of departments and a number of faculty members of the college and students. The honoring included the distribution of financial prizes and certificates of participation for the winning students and unlucky participants. Dr. Al-Hamad, Dean of the The Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Competition and the Corporal of the ceremony, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khasawneh, introduced the competition and presented a video prepared by the college students summarizing the course of the competition
It should be noted that the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University holds this competition annually with the aim of preparing and qualifying college students and preparing them to participate in national, regional and international competitions. The committee supervising the competition adopted the most important international standards in preparing, implementing and correcting answers.
