Amman Arab University Holds the Activities of Karam Market Bazaar
Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with “Karam Market”, organized a bazaar for the second time and over the course of three days inside the University. Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan opened the bazaar, in which (25) participants from companies and women from the local community participated,in the presence of the Assistant President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Ms. Nadia Al-Qadimat, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Wafaa Al-Eid, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mishaal Al-Jarrah, the Deanship staff, and a number of faculty, administrative and student members.
Prof.Al-widyan welcomed the organizers and supporters of such activities and said that the University is working within its policy and vision to participate in community service and support. In turn, the Dean of Student Affairs indicated that the aim of organizing such bazaars is to benefit students from them and support community women and startups. It is noteworthy that the bazaar included many handicrafts, industrial, purposeful games, and traditional foods. After the opening, Prof.Al-Widyan honored Mrs. Samar Abu Hantash, the director of Karam Market. Abu Hantash also presented an honorary shield to the University for hosting Karam Market, and the bazaar was well received by students and University employees.
