Advanced Course on Solar Energy Systems for Students of Amman Arab University
The Deanship of Student Affairs / Office of Career Guidance and Follow-up of Alumni at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering at the University, held a training course entitled "Designing Solar Energy Systems" presented by Engineer Mohammed Al-Assi from the Faculty of Engineering. The implementation of that course came as one of the training courses implemented by the within the student’s skills portfolio, which qualifies the student for the labor market, during the course the method of generating energy and the generation of electric current from the sun’s rays was explained, and the components of the connected, disconnected and hybrid systems were discussed, and how to design a solar energy system connected to the network for any house or factory was explained. Or an institution through electricity bills and protection systems for this system and how to connect it to the Jordanian electrical network, in addition to learning about the international prices of the components of the system and how to choose them according to the brands classified globally, and the student’s knowledge of the laws and legislation related to connection with the electrical network, and at the end of the course questions and inquiries were exchanged between Coach and students and answer them.
