Lecture on "University Violence” for Student of Amman Arab University
Amman Arab University is considered one of the best Jordanian universities in that it is a safe educational environment that is committed to developing program plans to implement extracurricular activities that will satisfy the desires of its students, fill their vacancy and employ their creative energies. Military, an awareness lecture for university students entitled "University Violence" presented by Dr. Mishaal Al-Jarrah / Assistant Dean of Student Affairs.
At the beginning of the lecture, Dr. Al-Jarrah welcomed the audience and conveyed to them the greetings of the President of the University, the Dean of Student Affairs, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Military Sciences Division, and the Deanship team. He talked about the concept of university violence and explained that it is one of the most serious problems facing students in universities, and that it causes harm to university students, staff, and property.
He also explained the forms of university violence, whether physical or verbal, or encroachment on university property, and explained the causes of university violence, attributing it to social and academic reasons.
Al-Jarrah also referred to the system of disciplining students, indicating the actions that are considered disciplinary violations and the disciplinary penalties applied to students who violate the regulations, instructions and laws in force at the university, especially those related to university violence. At the end of the meeting, the lecturer, the Military Sciences Division and the deanship team answered the students' questions and inquiries.
