Consultant of Computer Sciences and Informatics at "Amman Arab University" Transfers Expertise to Enhance Academic Programs
Amman - The College of Computer Science and Informatics at Amman Arab University held the meeting of the Advisory Council for the academic year 2022/2023 for the seventh year under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Dr. Husam Al-Hamad, and his membership, heads of departments, a number of officials and engineers of ICT institutions and companies specialized in the public and private sectors and alumni in the college.
The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Informatics, Dr. Husam Al-Hamad, began the speech by welcoming the members of the Council and providing an overview of what the college has achieved during the previous year, including the main objectives that have been achieved, the most important of which is the completion of all the requirements of international accreditations and the college recently obtained the local quality assurance certificate, and Dr. Al-Hamad stressed the pivotal role of the council in drawing broad lines and policies for the work of the college and its academic departments, informing them of the latest requirements and developments needed by the labor market and formulating the general objectives of the academic programs that must be focused on during the coming period in order to achieve the requirements of the labor market.
For their part, the members of the Council presented many suggestions and observations to enhance the performance of academic programs and raise the level of their academic and professional students and qualify them optimally for the labor market. During the meeting, new creations were discussed, study plans for all disciplines were reviewed, students' training in specialized information technology companies and institutions were discussed, work to enhance students' access to professional Board members made several improvement remarks that will enhance the work of academic programs over the coming period
