College of Engineering Amman Arab University Participates in a Workshop for the Engineering Business Forum (I Sustain Award)
Amman - Students of the Department of Architecture Engineering at Amman Arab University, accompanied by the Head of the Department of Architecture Engineering, Prof. Hanan Ahmed, participated in a workshop held by the Engineering Business Forum (I Sustain), which was attended by a group of students and professors of the Architecture Engineering Departments in Jordanian universities with members of the Engineering Business Forum and the Steering Committee.
The workshop aimed to discuss ways to develop students' projects towards achieving the principles of sustainability in their designs and introducing students to the strategy of dealing with design problems by studying surrounding environment from the initial stages of design by studying the site to the final stages of project design. The meeting also included reviewing the strategy of developing design ideas in a way that suits the environmental influences of the environment
The students of Amman Arab University were briefed on the projects of the winning students in the competency competition for the previous years, explaining the design idea and design solutions towards a sustainable design for each project
The members of the forum in charge of the educational workshop expressed their happiness and thanks for the contribution of Amman Arab University for their active participation in this meeting.
