How Do I Deal with my Child" Lecture by Suhaila Banat from Amman Arab University”
Coping with Amman Arab University’s vision in communicating with the local community, Prof. Suhaila Banat, a faculty member at the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, gave a lecture entitled (How do I deal with my child) addressed to mothers and teachers at the Umm Al-Danair Basic Mixed School of the Directorate of Education in Ain Al-Basha ,attended by Fida makamreh ,Administrative Director of Directorate of Education in Ain Al-Basha , group supervisors and administration of the school.
During the lecture, Prof. Banat talked about the way the mother deals with her child and pointed out the importance of paying attention to the psychological needs of children and the need to work to meet them by parents, as well as she explained to the audience the different areas of development in the middle and late childhood stages from the age of six to eighteen, including motor growth, mental development and social growth
At the end of the lecture, Prof. Banat answered the mothers' questions, which related to how to deal with some issues, especially the large number of questions among children, as well as their use of mobile phones and their spending a long time on social networking sites. It is indicated that this participation comes within the policy of the Amman Arab University and its orientations on the need to participate with local community institutions.
