Chairman of the Board of Trustees at "Amman Arab University" Interviews Law Students
Amman - Dr. Omar Mashhoor Haditha Al-Jazi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Amman Arab University, visited the court at the College of Law at Amman Arab University, during the interactive training program among the students of the faculty, on the importance of developing and modernizing political laws, and the role played by parties in Jordanian political life.
Dr. Al-Jazi briefed the courtroom after completing its implementation, and listened to the explanation given by Dr. Sultan Al-Atain, Chairman of the Moot Court Committee, and Dr. Bilal Abu Aisha, about the court's plan for the current year in relation to the training programs that the college students are subject to.
Dr. Al-Jazi stressed the importance of the partnership between the Faculty of Law and the faculties of law in universities with an acclaimed academic reputation locally, regionally and internationally, as well as international participation in the field of mock trials. During the visit, Dr. Al-Jazi moderated a discussion with a group of students about some important issues in the political modernization committee's legislation package: the election law and the parties law, due to the importance of these legislations in Jordanian political life, especially for youth, and listened to students' opinions on issues related to legislation regulating political life.
At the end of the meeting, the students and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Muhannad Abu Mughli, presented Dr. Omar Al-Jazi with a shield as an expression of their thanks and appreciation for his continuous and tireless support in the advancement of the university and the Faculty of Law.
