Cooperation Agreement between Amman Arab University and the Union of Employees of the International Relief Agency (UNRWA) in Jordan
Amman - Amman Arab University, represented President, Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan, concluded a cooperation agreement with the Union of Employees of the International Relief Agency "UNRWA" in Jordan, which was represented by the President of the Union of Employees of the International Relief Agency "UNRWA", Mr. Riad Zeegan, in the presence of Prof. Hyam Al-Taj , dean of College of Educational and Psychological Sciences , Prof.oda Abu-Sninah,and Dr.Rami Al-shugran,dr.Bassam Ghanim , Sawsan Al-Alim ,Director of Al-Baqaa School , and Mr.Ahmad Al-Masri,Director of Al-Nuzha School, who is one of alumni of Amman Arab University.
Prof.Al-Widyan began his speech by reviewing the history and emergence of the University and its faculties, and the educational-learning opportunities available to students at the University, specifically in the field of Aviation Sciences and other available majors such as cybersecurity, data science and artificial intelligence, which was recently developed as one of the programs of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics
Prof. Al-Widyan expressed his aspiration that this memorandum will contribute to providing academic support to the agency's employees and their families to study at the university for the bachelor's and master's programs, and cooperation in areas of common interest that promote the concept of social responsibility
In turn, Mr. Zeegan said that Amman Arab University enjoys great excellence in its graduates who work in the Relief Agency as supervisors and teachers, and indicated that the Ain Al-Basha Brigade has (16) schools for males and females. He said that the university has a distinguished academic position and is highly reliable in education.
It is noteworthy that the agreement aims to enhance cooperation in terms of accepting the employees of the agency and their children to enroll in the programs offered by the university in its various faculties with bachelor's and master's degrees, exchanging experiences and knowledge, establishing extracurricular activities and programs, voluntary events, community service and participating in conferences, seminars and training courses.
