Numan al-Khatib from "Amman Arab University" Publishes a New Book
The book “The Mediator in Political Systems and Constitutional Law” was published by the House of Culture for Publishing and Distribution in Amman by Prof. Noman Al-Khatib, Professor of Constitutional Law at Amman Arab University and former member of the Constitutional Court.
The book contains two parts, the author dealt in the first section with the state by defining it and explaining its pillars and the types of international federations, especially the federation and the confederation, and the concept of the legal state and its components. The focus is on constitutional oversight in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, especially after the establishment of the Constitutional Court.
The book is distinguished by its comparative presentation of international constitutions according to the latest constitutional amendments made to them until the beginning of 2023 and the basic laws in them, such as the Election Law for the Jordanian Parliament No. 4 of 2022 and the Political Parties Law No. 7 of 2022 that was issued in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan following the constitutional amendments e made to the constitution Jordan in 2022.
It is mentioned that Prof. Al-Khatib is a professor of public law at the Faculty of Law at Amman Arab University, and he worked as a professor of public law at Mu’tah University and Al-Israa University, vice-president of Mu’tah University, president of Al-Israa University, vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Human Rights, and a member of the Jordanian Higher Education Council and the Accreditation Commission for Education Institutions .
He is a member of the Constitutional Court, and a part-time lecturer at the Jordanian Judicial Institute, the War College, the Police Academy, and the University of Jordan .Prof. Al-Katib has many books, publications and scientific research in the field of law, constitutional and administrative judiciary, and working papers in national, regional and international conferences.
