"Amman Arab University Introduces Master's Program in "Arbitration and Commercial Dispute Resolution"
Amman - Amman Arab University obtained the approval of the Higher Education Council in its third session, held on 20-2-2023, to introduce the master's program in the major of "Arbitration and Settlement of Commercial Disputes" of the college of Law at the University, as of the first semester of the academic year 2023-2024
In this regard, Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan, President of the University, said that the development of this specialization comes within the framework of the plan of Amman Arab University to develop specializations that meet the needs of the growing labor market locally and regionally and enhance employment opportunities, indicating the need of the local, regional and international labor market for such specialization in resolving many commercial disputes.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Muhannad Abu Mughli, said that the introduction of the master's program in arbitration and commercial dispute resolution is a qualitative addition to the list of programs offered by the College of Law at Amman Arab University, considering that arbitration has become an alternative way to dispute resolution and serves a group of government and private parties.
It is worth mentioning that Amman Arab University has recently obtained approval to develop several modern specializations that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market, such as the Bachelor of "Data Science and Artificial Intelligence" at the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics, which is one of the most important sciences required at our time due to the continuous development in all fields of information technology, as it is one of the basic sciences needed by the information technology industries and the business world in the modern era in various fields and has a promising future in the local, regional and international labor market, and the master's program "Strategic Management" at the College of Business, which has become the effective practice of management and therefore one of the important reasons that distinguish leading institutions from affiliated institutions and the excellence of successful institutions.
