Prof. Mohammed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, sponsored at the headquarters of the Technical Academy for Vocational Training the graduation ceremony of the project to develop a professional diploma in hybrid and electric cars, which is part of the Syrian/Jordanian education program EDU-SYRIA / EDU-JORDAN, funded by the European Union through the Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis (Madadad) under the grant program implemented by the Dutch Organization for International Cooperation Nuffic, which is concerned with training students in hybrid car electromechanics, which comes in implementation of the mission and objectives of Amman Arab University

During the ceremony, Prof. Al-widyan pointed out that knowledge is the path to economic and social prosperity, but the modern education goals that are determined through the use of traditional educational strategies and methods cannot be achieved, as it is required to apply more efficient training methods and use modern technology to keep pace with the development in developed countries. In turn, Prof. Al-Widyan congratulated the students for obtaining this certified professional diploma approved by the Vocational and Technical Skills and Development Authority, and added that Amman Arab University has taken serious steps to build bridges of joint cooperation and strengthen community partnership for the sake of such projects.

For his part, the Director General of the Academy, Engineer Ahmed Akl, said during the ceremony that this program comes within the framework of cooperation between the Academy and Amman Arab University to implement a number of specialized professional programs targeting young job seekers from Syrian brothers in addition to Jordanians. The program included 48 trainees.

He stressed that the success of this program came as a result of the efforts of partners and supporters from various parties, Nuffic Organization, EDU Syria Program, Amman Arab University, Pioneers Academy, Vocational and Technical Skills Development and Development Authority, National Aid Fund and International Relief Agency
