Legal Seminar at Amman Arab University Explaining the Contents of the Laws of Election and Parties
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the University, in coordination with the College of Law, organized a legal seminar in the Centennial Stage entitled "Election Law and Party Law" presented by His Excellency Al Ain Dr. Khaled Mahmoud Bakkar, Member of the Senate, and His Excellency Eng. Walid Mohy All-deen
At the beginning of the seminar, which was moderated by Prof. Muhannad Abu Mujli, Dean of the College of Law, explained the role of the College of Law in disseminating awareness and education in law, and encouraged students to engage in political work with the aim of reform, development and respect for other opinion.
In turn, Prof. Mohammed Al-Widyan, President of the University, welcomed the guests of the seminar and the attendees from the university and members of the local community. In his speech, he pointed out the challenges facing Jordan, the countries of the region and the whole world face clear challenges that need future thinking and readiness.
In his speech, His Excellency Eng. Waleed Al-Masri pointed to the role of political parties in the province and the promotion of national gains during the first centenary of the life of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the importance of youth and their role in providing parties with competencies that enable them to achieve their national goals.
In turn, His Excellency Dr. Khaled Bakkar talked about the need to restore confidence in state institutions, especially parliament, and enhance the role of women in participating in political life.
At the end of the meeting, the guests of the symposium responded to the inquiries and questions of the attendees, and the President of the University honored the guests of the university in recognition and thanks to them for their attendance, and for the information they provided that contributed to enhancing the role of young people and their knowledge of their role and the responsibility placed on them.
