"Amman Arab University" Introducing the Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work
Amman - An introductory session was held at the Amman Arab University about the Hussein Bin Abdullah II Prize for Volunteer Work for the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023. During the meeting, which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs and in cooperation with the Ministries of Higher Education and Youth, those in charge of the Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award For volunteer work Clarify the objective of the award, which is to encourage volunteer work among individuals and university students, spread awareness of volunteer work, and promote community behavior in this field, and that the advanced work should be a kind of change to serve the community.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mishaal Al-Jarrah, welcomed the attendees and called on the students to participate in the award because of its benefit in transforming students' behavior and its benefit to the university and society.
Dr. Omar Al-Hindawi, Chairman of the Award Jury, explained the conditions for applying for the award, the fields of volunteer work, the conditions for the candidate and volunteer work, the categories of the award, the criteria for the award, and the mechanism for applying for the award. At the end of the session, the students' remarks about what was introduced about the award were listened to. Dr. Al-Hindawi and Mr. Hossam Othman answered the students' questions and inquiries about the award. A number of students suggested voluntary work that met the satisfaction of those in charge of the award and asked them to register for the award, adopting the work presented.
