A Blood Donation Campaign at Amman Arab University
Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the University organized, in coordination with the Health Center and the Deanship of Student Affairs at the University, a blood donation campaign, which came in cooperation with the Blood Bank.
At the beginning of the campaign, Prof. Al-Widyan praised the efforts made by the staff of the Blood Bank, the Health Center, and the Deanship of Student Affairs, and urged members of the faculty and administrative staff and students to donate blood for the benefit of the donor as a renewal of blood circulation, in addition to its contribution to helping patients, and blood donation is an ongoing charity. For the donor, Prof. Al-Widyan also called for the establishment of a private blood bank for students and workers at Amman Arab University.
It is worth-mentioning that the Dean of Student Affairs, a number of members of the teaching and administrative staff, and a large number of students participated in donating blood Mr. Majed Al Rayani, Head of Blood Donation for External Campaigns from the Blood Bank, thanked Amman Arab University for organizing such campaigns that benefit members of Jordanian society and Residents of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.At the end of the campaign and on behalf of the university president, the Dean of Student Affairs honored the blood bank staff for their efforts in making the campaign a success.
