Amman Arab University Participates in the Arbitration of the "Tamkeen" Award
Amman - Amman Arab University participated in the arbitration of the Tamkeen Award, which was implemented by the National Center for Creativity of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology in cooperation with the National Center for Research and Development.
The award targets emerging and pioneering companies that present innovative ideas in order to support the entrepreneurship environment in Jordan and support its pioneers. The committee has completed the evaluation process for the award, which consists of Dr. Hussam Khasawneh, Head of the National Center for Creativity, Dr. Muhammad Abdullah from Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, and Dr. Rami Hanandeh from the University of Jordan. Amman Arab, and Mr. Muhammad Obeidat from the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship, and Eng. Maha Al-Aqraa from the National Center for Research and Development.
During the evaluation, the qualified candidates were interviewed over a period of two days, which amounted to 16 entrepreneurial startups. The support provided will be financial support to cover the financial costs incurred by the technical and advisory services that these companies need to enable them to adopt creative solutions to continue their business on sound commercial bases.
