Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at "Amman Arab University" Meets Students
Amman - The Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University, Dr. Ghaith Jaradat, met with the new students for the first semester of 2022/2023, in the presence of the faculty members of the department.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the department welcomed the new students and congratulated them on their selection and enrollment in a master's degree in computer science at Amman Arab University. He briefly explained the department and the agreements signed with local and international bodies such as Oracle Academy, Cisco, and EC-Council for cybersecurity, aiming to enhance their expertise and qualify them for the labor market. In addition to signing agreements with many communications and information technology companies, the head of the department explained the teaching mechanism adopted in the college, which focuses on teaching the practical side. Policies and procedures related to postgraduate studies and important appointments were clarified and the department's activities were reviewed over the current two semesters. It consists of 8 training workshops, two competitions, the 5-minute thesis competition and the research competition in computer science, and a training workshop on "Technology Trends of 2022 - Applied AI".

He urged them to participate and urged them to increase research productivity and raise its scientific quality. He directed the students to follow up on the lectures and review their academic advisors to help them register for courses, respond to their inquiries, and support them with updates that they may encounter during their academic careers.
At the end of the meeting, the department head and faculty members answered the students' inquiries and listened to their suggestions and observations.
