"The Dangers of Drugs on Society" at Amman Arab University
Under the auspices of Prof. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Military Sciences Division at the University, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate / Drug Control Department, organized an awareness lecture entitled "The Dangers of Drugs on Society" presented by Major Nabil Al-Rawashdeh from the salaries of the Drug Control Department.
At the beginning of the lecture, Dr. Mishaal Al-Jarrah, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the university's guests and the audience, and added that Amman Arab University organizes such lectures to raise awareness among students on various topics, including the scourge of drugs and their danger to society, especially university students.
In his turn, Major Al-Rawashdeh thanked Amman Arab University for holding such awareness lectures, and said that drugs pose a great danger to societies and everyone should unite to fight drugs because drug dealers and promoters use their own tools to market narcotic substances in order to make it easier for them to obtain profit, and unfortunately they also use cheap methods it is that this drug helps with muscle structure, mental strength, and other alleged benefits.
At the end of the lecture, Major Nabil Al-Rawashdeh answered the students' questions, and the representative of the University President, Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, honored the Dean of Student Affairs, Major Nabil Al-Rawashdeh, with the University Shield, in appreciation of him and the Anti-Narcotics Department for this valuable lecture.
