College of Engineering at "Amman Arab University" Directs Students for Distinguished Research Projects
Amman - The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University organized a meeting for the students of the department, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Abdullah Al-Adainat.
During the meeting, Prof. Abdullah Al-Adainat stressed the importance of students following up on academic advising in their college through direct communication between the student and the academic advisor. He called for the importance of disseminating the culture of academic advising among students, as it is one of the most important means of helping students academically through careful follow-up of students' problems, and provide solutions to it, and he also called for the need to spread awareness among students and expand their perceptions of everything related to the requirements for obtaining international accreditation, as obtaining such accreditation is a priority for the department because of its advantages that benefit students and raise the academic quality of the program.
On the other hand, Dr. Sami Ayad stressed the importance of developing and refining students' skills to increase their excellence and efficiency during the study years, through direct scientific interaction during the study of courses.
Prof. Al-Adainat directed the students to present distinguished research graduation projects in the various fields of the program because of its benefit in refining the student's scientific and practical skills. At the end of the meeting, the students' various questions were answered, as such meetings come to enhance communication with the department's students, which reflects positively on refining their skills.
