Amman Arab University Participates in the JCPC-2022 International Programming Competition
Amman Arab University, represented by the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics, participated in the global programming competition in its Jordanian version, JCPC-2022, qualifying the global competition ICPC-2022, which was held this year at Irbid University, where the competition included a large number of teams exceeding (70) teams from various universities private and government in the Kingdom.
Amman Arab University was represented by (12) students divided into (4) groups of different years and specializations, and this year the students' performance improved by achieving better positions than the past two years. In this regard, the teams' coaches, Dr. Ahmed Khasawneh, Dr. Haifa Abu Al-Adous and Dr. Sharaf Al-Zoubi, emphasized the improvement of the students' level and their ability to answer a greater number of questions compared to previous years, which reflects the students' seriousness and their desire to improve their programming level.
Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University, Dr. Hussam Al-Hamad, stressed the importance of such competitions in refining students’ skills and the supremacy of their employment opportunities, and that the university will spare no effort to help students participate in such international competitions, stressing the university’s financial and moral support for students in all fields that will qualify them for the labor market.
