Amman Arab University Participates in a Networking Symposium by Erasmus for Education and Training
Based on an invitation from the Erasmus National Agency for Education and Training to the President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, to participate in the communication symposium, with the participation of 12 Jordanian universities, 7 universities from Palestine and 5 universities from the Netherlands, President of Amman Arab University delegated Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty of
Aviation Science and Dr. May Al-Shaikhli, Director of Consulting and Training, to attend the networking symposium.
After the opening of the symposium, bilateral sessions were held by the Amman Arab University team with five Dutch universities, namely:
1. International Institute of social studies
2. University of Applied Sciences (Leiden)
3. University of TWENTE
4. University of HAGUE
5. University of Windesheim
The points of compatibility with these universities varied between the following types of joint cooperation:
- Students exchange
- Exchange of faculty members
- Mutual projects
- Training projects
Today, Thursday, a delegation from three universities visited the Amman Arab University, site visit, to enrich the discussion in the above fields, in the presence of Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarwana, Vice President for Academic Affairs, a number of concerned deans, teaching staff and some students.
