College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at “Amman Arab University” Honors the Winning students of the International Cyber Talent Competition
Amman - Within a festive atmosphere organized by the Cultural Committee of the Faculty of Computer and Informatics at Amman Arab University, the Dean of the College, Dr. Hussam Al-Hamad, honored the students of the Cyber Security Department who won the first ranks in the Global Cyber Talent competition, in the presence of the heads of departments and members of the faculty in the department.
On this occasion, Al-Hamad expressed his pride in the college students and their achievements, congratulating the students who won the international competition for achieving first place over 342 universities worldwide. The labor market, and he valued the efforts of the faculty and administrative staff supervising the competition and for their support and guidance for students, and pointed out that the college adopts an ambitious plan and financial budget to support the participation of its students in local, regional and international competitions, activities and events.
For their part, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Head of the Cyber Security Department, Dr. Kamal Elyan, Head of the Cultural Committee, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Khasawneh stressed the importance of students’ participation in such competitions, which contribute to enhancing students’ practical and professional skills and creating an atmosphere of competition and positive cooperation in a way that supports their qualification and competition in the labor market.
The ceremony included speeches by a number of students, during which they expressed their thanks and enthusiasm for participating in various competitions and activities, and talking about their upcoming plans in this regard.
First place: Wadih Al-Haddad.
Second place: the student Qais Al-Sarayrah.
Third place: Elham Thalji and Rosa Murad.
The students who achieved advanced positions in the competition were honored. They are Yazan Hamdan, Tariq Joudeh, Saadi Ashlaq, Abdullah Arafat, Ahmed Al-Natour, Ahmed Abu Haikal, Ibrahim Qassem, Bahaa Al-Shabhi.
