A Joint Agreement between "Amman Arab University" and Orange Telecom to Recruit and Qualify Students of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics
 
Coping with the objectives of Amman Arab University and in an effort to qualify its students academically and professionally for the labor market, the university and Orange Telecom signed a joint cooperation agreement for the purposes of hiring, training and qualifying students of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics and increasing their chances of obtaining suitable jobs in their fields of specialization.
 
Under this agreement, college students will be given priority employment with Orange Telecom, access to field training and summer training opportunities, and participation in pioneering projects and professional training workshops held by the company through the Orange Digital Center, which will have a major role in enhancing the college students’ vocational skills they need for the labor market.  In accordance with the agreement, the company will implement specialized training events and workshops for students on campus by experts specialized in all fields of modern information technology.
 
In this regard, the President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, said that this agreement enhances the university's strategic direction to build partnerships with national institutions to contribute to the implementation of innovative projects and solutions and the promotion of digital education, stressing the university's endeavor and support to cooperate with major national institutions to achieve common national goals.
 
In turn, the Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, confirmed that the college, in order to achieve its goals, will support the implementation of all provisions of the agreement, which will have a significant impact on the rehabilitation of its students, providing them with scientific and practical skills, and increasing their opportunities in the labor market. He indicated that the agreement includes the supervision of experts from Orange on a number of projects.
