Amman Arab University Organizes a Workshop on Cooperation Opportunities with the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the University’s Consultation and Training Center organized a workshop entitled “Post-doctoral Research Opportunities in Germany” through the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, in the presence of faculty members at the university, where Prof. Hani Hayajneh presented The Foundation’s scientific ambassador to Jordan gave a detailed presentation on the programs offered by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to support Ph.D. researchers in all sciences and fields of knowledge.
He also explained that the institution has research fellowships and awards that suit the status of an academic researcher at all professional levels, as it is necessary to have a host in a university or a specialized institute in Germany to guarantee the possibilities of research, and Dr. Hyajne indicated that this institution as a mediator for the dissemination of German educational policies, works in the same time focused on promoting cultural dialogue between peoples and academic exchange. At the end of the meeting, a dialogue took place, during which Dr. Al-Hayajneh answered the attendees' questions.
