Conference at "Amman Arab University" on "Muslim Women in a Changing World"
Amman - The activities of the Sixth International Scientific Conference “Muslim Women in a Changing World” will begin next Saturday, corresponding to 23/07/2022, organized by the Association of Jordan Scholars in cooperation with Amman Arab University in Amman Arab University which is held under the generous patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Al-Sartawi.
The two-day conference (23-24/July), organized by the Colleges of Educational, Psychological, and Sharia Sciences in addition to the Deanship of Scientific Research, is one of the refereed scientific conferences. Local, Arab, and international universities, research centers, researchers, and experts in women's issues participate in it.
The conference will discuss the role of Muslim women in general in the life of the nation, and their active participation in various social, educational, political, entrepreneurship and reform fields.
The conference also deals with specialized topics, including women in Islamic legislation, women’s participation in public life, women’s rights in Islam, the role of women in confronting extremism, Jordanian women’s contributions to civil society institutions, and the impact of international changes on the reality of women in public life.
Amman Arab University has organized, during the last period, a number of international conferences with great success, and is preparing for a number of other distinguished international conferences.
