Graduation of the first batch of Japanese Language Trainers -Cooperation between “Amman Arab University” and the Japanese JICA Association
Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, received in his office the First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Jordan, Mr. Fukukura Hidemasa and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the President of JICA Association and Japanese language teacher Ayana Taira as part of the graduation event for students of the Japanese course entitled “Culture of the Land of the Sun through its Language”, supervised by Dr. Rafif Al-Zoubi, Head of the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering.
Professor Al-Widyan honored the students and handed them the certificates, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Omar Asaad and Director of the Consulting and Training Center Dr. May Al-Shaikhli, where the embassy members and distinguished guests expressed their admiration and gratitude for the level of students and the efforts exerted by everyone by providing our students with new and diverse skills.
It is noteworthy that the course began on 3/30/2022 and ended on 6/8/2022 with an intensive 15 hours with the participation of 18 university students. Its basics as well as the different vocabulary that gives them the ability to make a simple dialogue in daily life, and it is mentioned that none of the participants had the opportunity to learn the Japanese language, as the participating students passed the first level of the Japanese language.
